Several downtown Pensacola streets will close at 1:00 p.m. Friday ahead of President Donald Trump’s planned rally at the Pensacola Bay Center, city officials announced Thursday.
Interstate 110 southbound will be closed at Cervantes Street. Chase and Gregory streets will be closed between Tarragona Street and 9th Avenue. Alcaniz Street will be closed between Wright Street and Garden Street, and Florida Blanca Street will be closed at Chase Street.
President Trump is expected to arrive via Naval Air Station Pensacola. No parking will be permitted along Barrancas Avenue or Garden Street after 1:00 p.m. Friday. Any vehicles remaining on the route after 1:00 p.m. will be towed at no expense to Spring Street south of Garden.
Other streets may be affected depending on the final route of the motorcade, officials said.
No one will be allowed on the Bay Center property between 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., during which time security sweeps will take place. Ticket holders may arrive once screening begins at approximately 4:00 p.m. The following items will not be permitted into the Bay Center:

- Baseballs, softballs, etc.
- Produce
- Plastic bottles
- Umbrellas
- Chemical materials
- Radiological materials
- Biological materials
- Knives (of any kind)
- Toy guns / toy weapons
- Fireworks
- Pepper spray / mace
- Scissors
- Razor blades
- Needles
- Leatherman brand tools (or similar)
- Screwdrivers (or similar)
- Glass bottles
- Tripods
- Coolers
- Backpacks or large bags
- Air horns
