Treasures Museum Store at GulfQuest will welcome holiday shoppers for its first Sip and Shop on Tuesday, Dec. 8, from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. Guests will be treated to wine and cheese, plus giveaways every hour, while shopping among Treasures’ wide selection of beautiful gifts for the home and for people of all ages.
A highlight of the evening will include demonstrations by a Beatriz Ball representative who will explain the many uses of this exclusive collection of handmade metalware. In addition to Beatriz Ball, Treasures features original artwork from Gulf Coast artists, plus limited-edition maritime and nautical prints. There is also a large selection of men’s gifts such as ties, soaps, barware and books for the sea lover in every man. Ladies will love the selection of silk scarves and jewelry, plus home décor and gift items for wedding showers, corporate gifts and birthdays.
Treasures also has a large selection of toys and educational items for junior mariners such as books, stuffed animals, science kits and nautical items. And of course, Treasures is stocked with GulfQuest souvenir items, including t-shirts, caps, coffee mugs, coasters, puzzles, magnets, kitchen towels and more. Gift-wrapping is included.
Located on the Mobile River, GulfQuest is one of the only interactive maritime museums in the United States and the only museum in the world dedicated to the Gulf of Mexico. GulfQuest is a “Signature Attraction” for the Gulf Coast and a major educational attraction for Mobile, Baldwin and the state of Alabama. In addition to its Halloween celebration, GulfQuest will also welcome its first school field trips this week with more than 500 schoolchildren expected to come through the museum.
