The Gulf Coast’s first Wahlburgers restaurant has opened its doors at OWA, the 14-acre amusement park and entertainment district located in Foley, Alabama.

Established in 2011, the Boston-based burger chain is owned by actors Mark and Donnie Wahlberg and their brother, chef Paul Wahlberg. The company is also the subject of the A&E reality TV show Wahlburgers, which finished airing its eighth season in September.

“The community buzz and anticipation surrounding the Wahlburgers OWA opening is exciting for our entire organization,” said Gina Buell with Wahlburgers Development. “We are now open and ready to bring not only legendary service, but new Wahlburgers memories to Coastal Alabama.”

Located outside the amusement park in OWA’s “downtown district,” Wahlburgers doesn’t require ticketed admission to dine. The restaurant includes a full bar, outdoor seating, and offers both full and quick service dining options.

“At OWA we are always seeking new ways to bring a complete experience to our guests; whether it’s the largest theme park on the Gulf Coast or now the largest Wahlburgers in the U.S.,” said Greg Rawls, OWA’s Business Development Director. “Our research shows that dining is just as important to our guests as a day in our theme park. Wahlburgers brings the value, quality, and brand recognition to really spark excitement.”
