The last remaining RadioShack stores in Pensacola and Mobile are among the 552 locations the strugging chain plans to close by the first week of April, Business Insider is reporting.
The mass closure will affect some 36% of the struggling chain’s locations, including the stores located on Navy Boulevard and Mobile Highway in Pensacola and on Rangeline Road in Mobile. Around 1,000 company-owned stores will remain open nationwide, along with an additional 425 independently-operated stores.
Earlier this month, the company filed for bankruptcy for the second time in two years. At the time, the company said it expected to close around 200 stores.
