Mumford & Sons, Twenty One Pilots, Frank Ocean, and Chance the Rapper lead an impressive lineup for next year’s Hangout Music Festival, unveiled Tuesday by festival organizers.
The eighth edition of the annual festival will take place on the beach in Gulf Shores, Ala. from May 19-21, 2017.
Ocean’s performance at Hangout is set to be his first in three years. Ocean released his second studio album, Blonde, earlier this year to wide critical acclaim.
Wilder Mind, the most recent offering from English folk rockers Mumford & Sons, debuted at No. 1 last year. The group has won two Grammy award, including the 2013 award for album of the year for Babel.
Other acts announced Tuesday include MGMT, Weezer, Sigur Rós, Band of Horses, Franz Ferdinand, Local Natives, Mac DeMarco, Charli XCX, Warpaint, ASAP Ferg, and Young the Giant.
The strong 2017 lineup comes after a disappointing 2016 event, which saw a lengthy rain delay on the first day of the festival as well the unexpected loss of headliner Calvin Harris, who canceled his performance after being injured in a car accident.
Tickets for the 2017 Hangout Music Festival, which start at $249, go on sale December 1 at 11:00 a.m. VIP tickets and Super VIP passes are also available starting at $1,099 and $1,599, respectively.
