As America’s oldest city, Pensacola is known to have its share of ghost stories and spirits roaming the centuries old streets and homes throughout downtown.
With All Hallows’ Eve right around the corner, the University of West Florida Historic Trust is getting into the spirit.
Historic Pensacola will host its 26th Annual Haunted House Walking and Trolley Tours this month on Oct. 22, 28 and 29, providing guests with several spooky scenarios to celebrate Halloween season.
Guests may choose from among three walking tour routes that last around one hour:

Explore the haunted stories of Pensacola’s “other” history and learn the history of the likes of Molly McCoy and Slaps Johnson as you stroll down Pensacola’s Palafox Street. Madams. Prostitutes. Ghosts, oh my!
The Seville Spirits tour explores the haunted happenings around Seville Square. Follow your tour guide as they share the many spooky stories that can be found in this historic community.
