Job seekers, take note: later this month, Escambia County and Goodwill Easter Seals will kick off a series of five free public workshops aimed at building employability skills.

The workshops are open to Escambia County residents who may be seeking a career change or are just interested in developing new skills as it relates to job training. Topics covered will include job searching, filling out applications, resume writing, interviewing skills, and more.

The first workshop is set for Wednesday, October 21, from 10-11:30 am at the Marie K. Young Community Center in Wedgewood. The remaining workshops will take place on November 4, November 18, December 2, and December 16 at the same location.
